Still in the hunt is Matt, with just one defeat in the last 13 games as he heads into Christmas just six points off the lead as Kestrel XXIII already appears to be turning into a three-horse race approaching the halfway stage.

P-Chief, with just two defeats in the last seven, is doing his best to keep up with the pace at the top but is still six points adrift of Matt in third, while Cobman and Steve are not far behind.

At the bottom, Dave enjoyed a rare victory in Week 19 to open up a three-point lead over defending champion Stuart, whose decision to drop Leicester’s defence in October’s draft is yet to pay dividends.
