Honest Hallos Odds and Auction Breakdown

Cobman - 6/4 FAV
Top buy of the night in the Man U defence with goals seemingly spread out among the team, well 5/6ths of the team anyway but he'll ditch Campbell soon enough. 6/4Fav

Dave - 3/1
I always write Dave off and I should really do it again as he's relying on a post Moyes Everton remembering how to defend with the cavalier Martinez now in charge. Goals a plenty throughout the team though so he's 3/1.

Ewen - 8/1
Solid backline but is there enough firepower? Most surprisingly no Villa link this season!!! Berbatov and Walcott should get a few but the others might struggle to get into double figures. An early draft pick in October may help if there are a few panic buys in the next couple of weeks. 8/1

Matt - 2/1
Lots of goals potential, an ambitious defence and 1st pick in the draft makes this side a force to be reckoned with. It hinges on how good Liverpool will actually be - 2/1 says I'm not sure!

Paul - 5/1
Will they stay or will they go? I guess we'll find out this weekend but a combined 31M for Suarez and Bale could be the bargain of the auction although it could easily be 31M wasted. Paul has shown faith in the Swans for his wildcard defence, and the Spanish/Swans theme runs throughout the side. I know to my cost that a fan bias can cost you in these things - will it strike again? 5/1

Steve - 20/1
Bought Chelsea in Harrods but then went to Asda for the rest. Only the unknown randoms Cornelius and Van Wolfswinkel look like being first choice for their clubs. This is a team in desperate need of luck! 20/1

Stu - 4/1
Relying on Spurs to be tight is always a big ask in the Kestrel but there are a couple of big strikers with a few who look like they should score goals. Could be interesting. 4/1

Taff - 6/1
Like Paul he'll be sweating on the futures of 2 of his strikeforce. In the case of Torres he'll be hoping for a transfer to another English club though as he isn't a Mourinho style player at all. Rooney might replace him at Chelsea or he could be packed off abroad. Golden rule under Ferguson was that you don't sell good players to your rivals and I can't see that policy changing under Moyes. The Cazorla / Arsenal combination could be good though, but then again Arsenal are usually rubbish between October and Christmas! 6/1
