Former champions Stuart and Steve have set the early pace at the top of the KSSL leaderboard with both making impressive starts to the latest campaign.
Stu, led by the reigning champion defensive unit in Spurs – which looks a bargain at £21m – has conceded only one goal in the first seven games, with Aguero and Benteke leading the line up front to earn five wins and a draw so far.
Steve, unbeaten this season, has the in-form strikeforce after the opening games, with Defoe and Giroud bagging eight goals between them.
Matt’s team, as always with a strong Liverpool contingent (past or present!), has had Daniel Sturridge to thank for his solid start in third with five goals in the first five weeks, with Dave, E-Chief and defending champion Cobman not far behind.
P-Chief is still waiting for his expensive frontline of Negredo, Soldado and Suarez to hit full stride, but the return of the Uruguayan will give his team that extra bite following his latest ban. Until the next one, obviously.
In stark contrast, since Taff captured his third title in 2011-12, he has spent an amazing 50 consecutive weeks at the bottom of the table.
