In-form Sturridge Steers Matt to Victory


Daniel Sturridge maintained his impressive start to the season with his seventh goal in nine games to steer Matt to victory in the latest round of KSSL fixtures.

Matt was the only winner in Week 9, as current leader Stu blew a 3-0 lead going into Sunday while there were also draws for second-placed Steve, defending champion Cobman and Paul, who has welcomed Luiz Suarez back with open arms.

Romelu Lukaku’s fourth goal in as many games couldn’t save Dave from a third defeat in his last four matches, while Taff and Ewen failed to trouble the scorers.
